2023 - 2026What was my role
I led the discovery and definition of the product, working directly with clients to understand their operational challenges, gather requirements and shape the product vision.
Working closely with stakeholders, I translated business needs into the initial product requirements and defined the MVP, scope and roadmap before establishing the design direction for the platform.
As Head of Design, I then led the design team through delivery, providing design leadership, reviewing solutions, ensuring consistency across the product and supporting the evolution of the platform as new clients and capabilities were introduced.
What is it?
The Adviser Portal is a white-label platform that enables financial advisers and their support teams to manage their clients' superannuation accounts in one place.
The platform provides instant access to client balances, investments, insurance, beneficiaries and account details, while allowing advisers to generate member summaries on demand without contacting the fund. Built as a configurable product, it has been deployed across multiple superannuation funds, delivering a consistent experience while supporting each fund's branding and business rules.
Adviser Online
Why we’ve built it?
Managing client information often required advisers to call or email the fund, wait for documents to be generated, or rely on outdated information. These manual processes slowed down client service and increased operational workload for fund administrators.
The Adviser Portal was designed to shift these interactions to self-service.
By giving advisers secure, real-time access to member information and downloadable account summaries, the platform reduces administrative overhead, improves responsiveness and allows advisers to spend more time supporting their clients rather than chasing information.
Beyond member access, the platform includes enterprise-grade user management, enabling dealer groups, advice practices and advisers to manage users, assign support staff, configure permissions and onboard new advisers without relying on the fund.

Managing Clients’ Wealth
The portal gives advisers immediate access to their client portfolio, surfacing account balances, account types and key member information while making common administrative tasks available in a single workspace. Designed for speed and efficiency, it reduces navigation and enables advisers to move seamlessly between clients’ views.
Advisers no longer need to contact the fund to obtain member information or account summaries. By moving these tasks online, the platform reduces support requests, improves response times and enables advisers to deliver better service to their clients.
Reports
The Reports section gives practice managers and dealer groups access to the operational and financial data they need to manage their business.
Users can generate and export reports for Funds Under Management (FUM), advice fees and investment holdings, with flexible reporting periods and spreadsheet exports for further analysis. By providing direct access to this information, the platform removes the need for manual requests to the fund, enabling practices to reconcile payments, monitor business performance and make data-driven decisions more efficiently.
User & Role Management
To support organisations of different sizes, we designed a flexible role and permission framework that could adapt to various operating models.
Roles such as Dealer Group Manager, Practice Manager, Adviser and Support Staff define access across the platform, while granular permissions allow organisations to tailor capabilities to their own governance requirements. From managing users and assigning support staff to accessing reports or client records, permissions can be configured without requiring development changes.
The User Management module gives dealer groups, practice managers and advisers full control over how their organisations access and platform use.
Administrators can onboard new users, assign roles, manage permissions and allocate support staff, allowing each practice to administer its own teams without relying on the super fund. This self-service approach reduces administrative overhead while ensuring that users have access only to the information and functionality relevant to their role.
A white-label adviser platform designed for enterprise scale
Built to support multiple superannuation funds, the Adviser Portal provides advisers and advice practices with secure, self-service access to client information, reporting and administration. Today, the platform is rebranded and used by three super funds, delivering a consistent experience while supporting each client's unique business requirements.
